About Me

Hello, my name is Charley Jones and I am a contemporary painter from the U.K. I have painted as a child and went on to study fine art Painting at Nottingham Trent university 1998.

My painting career was newly invigorated in 2014 by the arrival of my son Lucas. and since then I have featured in several group exhibition around the world and in 2020 I went selected as part of the Discerning Eye exhibition at the mall galleries in London..

I has also been commissioned by numerous clients to paint portraits on commision my work has featured in interior design projects in London and around the world. I specialize in creating portraits for clients, to date I have painted for numerous clients from around the world for personal family projects and interior designers. My work is inspired by migration, human escapism and connection with nature. Creating energetic portraits and figurative paintings that challenge contemporary painting boundaries today. I am always trying to capture moments of contemplation and realization through landscapes and spaces, colour is a continuous reminder of  mother nature.
